So, I've been slacking off lately... working mostly, and too lazy to type about it when I get home.

My new job is going ok. It's the hardest job I've ever had, and pays the least. blah!

I mostly bag groceries for people, clear baskets from cashier lanes, clean the store, put things back on shelves, and spend a lot of time in the parking lot wrangling hundreds of way-ward shopping carts (who knew I'd come to miss those little cart-lock quarter thingies?! they don't have em here, so everybody leaves their shopping carts all over the place. EVERYWHERE!)

So far, I've had two different departments trying to steal me.... so somebody must be noticing how hard I'm working? The floral department lady approached me within my first week about working for her... but she needs to check it out with the manager, and seems to be taking longer than I think is neccessary. So, it'd be nice but I won't hold my breath on it.

Last week the store manager also asked me if I wanted to work in the service deli (making/serving the hot foods, sandwiches, sliced meats and cheeses, etc), and then dragged me all over the store to introduce me to the deli supervisor. I haven't worked the same shift as him since then tho, so I haven't heard what's up. It would also be nice.... the manager thinks it's a better job than bagging groceries and chasing carts, and it pays a little bit more. so... maybe I might hold my breath a little for that one ;)

Anyway... that's all I've got for now... I need to go get ready for said job.

Tomorrow I'm going in for the official Insulin Pump switchover --with the actual insulin in it!!
it's exciting, but tomorrow is going to be extremely boring... 8 hours in the dr's office, even a good book can't keep me occupied for that long. I'm not even allowed to "go walking around" =S
I wonder if they have internet access there??
